Global Investor Summit 2019, 23 – 24 February 2019, Madhya Pradesh 

The Global Investors Summit 2019, sixth edition of the investment summit is going to be held on 23rd – 24th February 2019 and aims to provide opportunities for deliberations on emerging markets and technologies of future. The key features of this summit are: Focus sessions on Promoting FDI, Industry 4.0, Vision of Madhya Pradesh 2030, Thematic focus sector seminars, International exhibition with sector pavilions and Business connect platform.

India is projected to lead the world with its economic growth rate and advantageous demographic dividend. To capitalize these advantages posed by India, the investor summits offer an opportunity to explore potential collaborations and partnerships. Global Investors Summit, the flagship investment promotion event of the Government of Madhya Pradesh, is an established platform for global leaders, investment community and experts to share their narratives in remodeling the world in this age of disruptions.

Madhya Pradesh (MP), fondly referred to as, "The heart of India", due to its geographical location is the second largest state in the country by area and sixth largest state in India by population. Madhya Pradesh offers 100+ industrial areas offering more than 1,20,000 Acres of land having state of the art infrastructure like roads, drainage and sewage treatment plant.

Global Investors Summit 2019 aims to offer national and international participants a global platform to showcase and demonstrate their capabilities in design, engineering, equipment and support services for large state projects. The exhibition will be a forum to promote the initiative of 'Make in Madhya Pradesh' under the strong leadership of Hon'ble Chief Minister Madhya Pradesh, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan and co-promote the national initiative of 'Make in India' under the leadership of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. The summit will be an ideal platform for the key stakeholders to interest on important topics and will see participation of government officials, thought leaders, industry experts and other eminent stakeholders from across the country. The summit will have more than 15 thematic sessions to brainstorm on the leading practices of the focus areas and sectors and way ahead to tap the opportunities. A Global Trade Exhibition 2019 is also being organized as an integral part of the GIS 2019 and will provide participants with an opportunity to showcase their products and services.

The GIS Exhibitions in the past have attracted a diverse mix of participants and audience, nationally and globally; and have been a networking platform of government officials, entrepreneurs and global executives, professionals and academia. The focus of the Global Trade Exhibition 2019 moves beyond identifying new business opportunities and will have special focus on new technologies disrupting the way businesses operate.

Government of Madhya Pradesh has launched the GIS 2019 event portal i.e. www.investmp.com providing detailed information about the Summit and to facilitate registrations and participations in the Global Trade Exhibition 2019.
