The National Design Centre with the support of APEDA is organizing One day International Buyer Seller Meet (BSM) at Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh on 24^th May, 2022. The IBSM provides a platform for B2B and B2G meetings between International / National Buyers & Exhibitors, Exporters and the Progressive Growers and FPOs to explore the direct marketing and export opportunities of these products.

    Agriculture and processed food production export Development Authority (APEDA) set-up by Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Govt. of India is an apex body that promotes export trade of agricultural products in India.  APEDA is responsible for export promotion of Fresh Fruits & Vegetables, Processed Food products, Livestock products and Cereals.

    National Design Centre (NDC) has been set up as an autonomous organization by Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India with an objective to fill up the gap in the areas of Design and Product Development. The other objectives of the centre is to build and create design oriented excellence in the handicrafts and other synergy sectors such as Jute, Silk, Carpet, Handlooms and other employment generation sectors to withstand global competitiveness. 

    The North Eastern Region of India comprising of 8 states is endowed with conducive climatic conditions for production of large amount of fruits and vegetables. In-spite of the natural resources & organic food production, the export potential from this region has remained untapped. Being landlocked States, the farmers and entrepreneurs of this State have not received much exposure to the international trade opportunities
