Asia Economic Dialogue 2022

The Asia Economic Dialogue (AED) is the flagship geoeconomics conference of the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), India. The 6^th Asia Economic Dialogue (AED 2022) will be jointly convened by the MEA and Pune International Centre (PIC) on 23^rd, 24^th, 25^th February 2022 over a virtual platform. The theme for the conference is : “Resilient Global Growth in a Post-Pandemic World”.

Asia Economic Dialogue is a unique dialogue based in India where Asia gets together to talk trade, finance, and business opportunities. 

PIC was launched in September 2011 and is an independent think tank which deliberates on issues of national importance and contributes to policy making in India. Its members include over 400 eminent individuals, over 50 national institutes, and several leading corporates, from all over India and the world who pool together their resources, capabilities, and experience for shaping the papers and programmes produced by PIC.

AED 2022 will also see more Fireside Chats with heads of state, industry leaders, and chiefs of international agencies. The event will be spread over 3 days and will include 12 sessions on various sub-topics in the post-pandemic context such as, international cooperation, prospects for firm-level growth, the coming digital world, protecting livelihoods and enhancing incomes, and even a panel discussion with young entrepreneurs from different countries on ‘From Ideas to IPOs’. You are cordially invited to join the sessions, as these sessions will  see a scintillating line-up of distinguished speakers from Asian, European, and American countries and would be attended by Ministers, WTO contingents, representatives of various regional trading arrangements, industry, government, and policy leaders in addition to the leading promoters, CEOs & CTOs who will join the conversation and will be having a stirring debate on issues that affect everyone.
