As you know, India is the largest producer, consumer and exporter of spices of the world and India’s spice exports. Spice Board under Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India is the flagship organisation for the development and worldwide promotion of Indian spices. The Board is an international link between the Indian exporters and the importers abroad. The Board has been spearheading activities for excellence of Indian spices involving every segment of the industry.

2. India and Singapore share long-standing cultural, commercial and strategic relations. Singapore is the 8^th largest source of investment in India and the largest amongst ASEAN member nations. Around 60 exporters are actively exporting spices such as ginger, chilies, cumin, turmeric, fennel, fenugreek, black pepper, garlic, coriander, cardamom (small & large), nutmeg, mace, value added products like spice oils & oleoresins, curry powder, mint oil etc. to Singapore.

3. With a view to further promote the export of Indian spices to Singapore, Spices Board would like to organise Buyer Seller Meet (BSM) through online platform by including the spices exporters from India and major spice importers from Singapore.
