SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME FOR DIASPORA CHILDREN(SPDC) 2018-19
Ministry of External Affairs is executing Scholarship Programme for Diaspora Children (SPDC) Scheme for pursuing undergraduate courses. Scholarships are given to the children of PIO/NRIs; children of Indian workers working in ECR countries; and children of Indian workers working in ECR countries but the children are studying in India.
The partial financial assistance to the extent of 75% of the total Institutional Economic Cost (IEC) subject to a maximum of US$4,500/- per annum is borne by Government of India under this scheme.
