Latest Updates on Attestation Services

According to Hague convention 1961, a document which has been apostilled by a country party to the said convention is not required to be Apostilled or re-attested again by any other authority. It will remain valid and acceptable for use in all the countries that have acceded to the said convention.

As such, the requirement for attestation by the High Commission of India Singapore in respect of all India-bound Singapore documents that have been apostilled by Singapore Academy of Law (SAL) in Singapore, has now been done away with.

Applicants are requested to carefully note this change in requirement.
